Hello, and welcome to Phil on Film.

My name is Philip Concannon. I'm a regular contributor to Little White Lies, Mostly Film, Sight & Sound and The Skinny, and on this blog you'll find links to all my reviews, features and interviews.

I have contributed booklet essays for the blu-ray releases of Novecento (1900), 52 Pick-Up, Ismael's Ghosts, Betrayed and Love Me Tonight

My 2008 interview with the Dardenne brothers was published in the book Committed Cinema: The Films of Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne.

I also programme films and host special cinema events as part of The Badlands Collective, along with Craig Williams and Ian Mantgani. You can read about our activities here.
